Hawa Mahal is a palace located in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. It was built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh, the grandson of Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh, the founder of the city of Jhunjhunu in the state of Rajasthan 1.
